On the afternoon of December 28, 2023, Heilongjiang University held the 2024 Faculty New Year Tea Party in the conference room of the Main Library. School leaders and faculty representatives gathered to review achievements and look forward to the future.

The event was presided over by Wang Yujue, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee. President Wang Dazhong delivered a New Year's speech, summarizing the school's accomplishments in 2023 in talent cultivation, disciplinary development, scientific research, faculty construction, and international exchanges. He expressed gratitude to all faculty and staff for their dedication and extended New Year's wishes.

Faculty representatives including Professor Li Hong from the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, Associate Professor Zhang Bo from the School of Electronics Engineering, and Professor Du Youquan from the School of Economics and Business Administration shared their insights on teaching, scientific innovation, and student development.

Party Committee Secretary Niu Qiang emphasized in his concluding speech that 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of Heilongjiang University. He called on all faculty to remain committed to the original aspiration of nurturing talent, deepen comprehensive reforms, and jointly write a new chapter in the school's development.

The event concluded with faculty representatives presenting artistic performances including poetry recitations and chorus segments, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Heilongjiang University's educators.
