OnNovember30th, the China-Russia Youth Sports andPeople-to-PeopleExchange and Volleyball Training Camp was held at Heilongjiang University. It was sponsored by theChinaCenter for InternationalPeople-to-PeopleExchange（CCIPE）ofthe Ministry of Education, the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province, and the China-Russia Sports Universities Alliance, and organized by Heilongjiang University, Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, and Harbin Sport University. Co-organizers included North University of China, Hebei Sport University, Shandong Sport University, Shenyang Sport University, and Henan Sport University.Cao Diefeng,Deputy Director of the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province, Li Zhuo,VicePresident of Heilongjiang University, team leaders from relevant universities, coaches, referees and athletes from Chinese and Russian universities participating in the training attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Li Zhuo presented the flag to the athlete representatives of the training camp, and Cao Diefeng announced the opening of the training camp.

On the sports field, theyoungathletes from both Russia and China showed great determinationand a strong passion to compete.

That evening,thecultural performance themed“Together for a Shared Future”forChina-Russia Youth Sports andPeople-to-PeopleExchanges andtheVolleyball Training Camp, as well as the closing ceremony, were held at the Concert Hall of Heilongjiang University. Yu Changxue, Directorof CCIPE, Cao Diefeng,Chi Baoxu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Heilongjiang University, Liu Fengying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Li Zhuo, Vice President, athletes, coaches, referees, and staff from two universities in Russia and eight universities in China, Russian international students, counselors from related colleges, and student representatives attended the event. The closing ceremony was presided over by Li Zhuo.

Chi Baoxu, Andrey Ivanov, the team leader from Amur State University of Sholom Aleichem, Cao Diefeng, and Yu Changxue delivered speechesrespectivelyand demonstrated their hope that Chinese and Russian youth would continue to strengthen their exchanges and interactions, enhance mutual understanding and friendship, and make greater contributions to promoting practical cooperation in various fields, consolidating and developing the comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination between China and Russia in the new era.

Yu Changxue and Chi Baoxu presented trophies and medals to the representatives of the participating teams.

Subsequently, theculturalperformance commenced with “Gathering on the Sun Island”. Twelve programs, including dance, chorus, folk music ensemble, and martial arts performance, were presented splendidly. These programs not only demonstrated the youthful vitality of the Chinese and Russian youths but also promoted the integration and coexistence of different cultures in a joyous and relaxing atmosphere, facilitating the vigorous development of China-Russia cultural exchanges. The performance concluded with the song “Snow in Harbin”.
